eBay US Fee Calculator — Final Value Fees & Profit
Calculate eBay US final value fees, per-order charges, shipping costs and net profit with rates checked against eBay's current seller fee schedule.
Current eBay US seller fees
For sellers without a Store subscription, eBay’s standard fee for most categories is 13.6% of the total amount of the sale up to $7,500, plus 2.35% on any portion above $7,500. The order charge is $0.30 at $10 or less and $0.40 above $10.
| Cost | Current standard treatment |
|---|---|
| First 250 listings each month | No insertion fee in most categories |
| Additional listings | $0.35 each in most categories |
| Most-category final value fee | 13.6% up to $7,500; 2.35% above |
| Per-order charge | $0.30 at $10 or less; $0.40 over $10 |
| International fee | 1.65% when applicable |
The percentage is usually applied to the item price, shipping collected, sales tax and other applicable charges. Because this calculator cannot know the buyer’s tax before a sale, its estimate uses the values you enter and may be slightly lower than the final invoice.
Category and performance adjustments
Category selection matters. Books and media use a 15.3% first tier, selected collectibles use 13.25%, while qualifying athletic shoes and guitars use lower rates. eBay Stores may also receive different rates.
Seller performance can add cost. A Below Standard account normally adds 6%; after four or more consecutive months it can rise to 7%. A Very High “item not as described” rate can similarly rise from 5% to 6%. The calculator’s checkbox models the standard 6% Below Standard addition, not every possible account-specific adjustment.
For the final amount, compare the estimate with eBay’s official selling fee schedule, especially if you use ads, a Store, international shipping or a specialist category.
