Depop no longer charges Australian sellers its former 10% selling fee. The standard cost is now payment processing, with an additional fee only when you choose to Boost a listing and Depop attributes the sale to that promotion.

Example: A$50 sale
For an A$50 item with no seller-paid shipping or tax in the processing base:
- Payment processing: A$50 × 2.6% + A$0.30 = A$1.60
- Selling fee: A$0.00
- Payout before item cost: A$48.40
If an 8% Boost fee applies, add A$4.00, bringing total platform fees to A$5.60 and the payout before item cost to A$44.40.
What counts toward the fee
Payment processing is calculated on the item price, shipping and applicable taxes. The Boost fee basis depends on how shipping is arranged. Enter what the buyer pays and what shipping costs you separately so the calculator can show payout and profit rather than just the marketplace charge.
How the 2026 change affects pricing
If you previously built a 10% Depop selling fee into every Australian listing, recalculate your target price. You can keep the difference as margin, use some of it for offers, or price more competitively.
