A$100 domestic payment example
At the current pre-change online rate, a A$100 domestic card payment costs approximately A$2.05, leaving A$97.95 before product and operating costs. From 1 October 2026, the same calculation becomes A$2.00 at the advertised lower rate.
Stripe also lists 1% + A$0.30 for PayTo and BECS Direct Debit, capped at A$3.50, and a A$25 dispute received fee. Those products are not included in this card calculator.
